Hey there! Welcome to Buenos Diaz Performance! I’m Nate Diaz, your go-to sport and performance dietitian and running coach. I’m super excited and grateful that you checked out my page today.
A little bit about me—I recently served as the Director of Olympic Nutrition at the University of Miami (Go Canes!), where I got to work with some elite athletes across a bunch of sports, like track and field, cross country, baseball, basketball, tennis and even golf! Before that, I was in the clinical nutrition world, helping folks manage things like hypertension and diabetes, and I also had a blast as a food service manager, learning how to turn fresh ingredients into delicious meals.
I’ve got a huge passion for running, nutrition, and all things fitness! I started out as a baseball player but made the switch to marathon running. Let me tell you, I love every minute of it. Right now, I’m on a mission to crush a sub 3-hour marathon PB!
When I’m not out running, strength training, or whipping up nutritious meals at home, you can find me traveling with my wife, hanging out with our adorable pups, Walter and Sky, or taking care of our little homestead, where we grow fresh produce and care for our fabulous five chickens—Lola, Lil, Lucky, Autumn, and October.
